Update on dragons

So, Bruce the oldest dragon had to be put to sleep a month ago. He had a big tumor in his throat, that would eventually suffocate him.
So, Russell was quite sad for the first week. Me and my daughter, Nat, always miss him a lot.
I was offered a female that was used to a dominant male. It literally took her a week to settle in. Usually bearded dragons can die from stress when moved or other big changes.
But she eats A LOT! All the time. She never turns down food. She can beat up Russell when he's a bully and they just get along so well.
No eggs so far. Russell has never before seen a female and hasn't yet figured out how to do the mating probably.
But no doubt he'll figure it out one day.

So all is peace and harmony in dragonland.

useless buffers

I don't know how many bufferfiles I've tried but I still haven't found the perfect one. Many gets ruffled and torn after few uses. The best so far is from Elite Professional bought at my local supermarket.

I don't use them too much. Just to remove stains and big ridges. But still its amazing how many crappy ones are out there.

A few words on Seche Vite

So, I've been avoiding this  for a looong time. I've tried every Dry Fast Top Coat I could find. Till now I've been satisfied with Essie Good To Go. It has the same quality as SV. Melting the layers and long last. But the shrinkage at the tip drove me mad. Every goddamn time. Tried with regular top coat first etc. Still shrinkage.


After reading a review on Seche Vite on Passion 4 Polish I finally decided to try it. AND OMG! It's perfect. I now understand what the hype is all about. It's all true. My mani have never been so perfect and flawless. And the smell? It's really not that bad. When you're used to sitting in polish fumes all day, it's nothing.
